Whats wrong with my crowbars? :(

so last season i decided to ski with my crowbars, and i tomahawked and afterwards my lenses were fogged then they dried and this terrible event has happened >:(
the outside of the lens is perfect and normal, but the inside seems to be caked with a film of some kind,
does anybody know how to fix this? K+ for helpful comments

I'm not, just own up the to fact that it's your fault this happened to your lens, and not oakleys fault.

this has not ever happened to my crowbar lens in the time that that i've owned them, or any oakley lens for that matter

Dude i'm not trying to argue. And i'm buying a new lense. All i'm saying is that the goggles were in the bag and when i took them out they were scratched. Oakley's sick, but i don't think i'll spend over 150$ on their goggles again.

Yeah problems solved, just wish I could do something that didn't make me have to get a new lens. But still no need to hate bro it's chillllllll

Same shit happened to me a while back, If you need to you can take the two lenses apart and just use the one thats not messed up. Worked just great for me.

i ended up just splitting them and throwing the inner lens out. no difference really..
but still not stoked about that decision

I was getting pissed off just reading the conversation after you posted the right answer.

Short answer. You're fucked kid.
NEVER EVER WIPE THE INSIDE GOGGLE LENS WHILE IT IS WET.
Ruins the water proof coating. You are suppose to let it dry naturally. When water gets on the coating, it softens it. When you wipe it, it smears and scratches the coating causing that fogging you have.

You have 2 options:
1) Buy a new lens cheap ass. You're gogs are from '08 to begin with.
2) Tear the inside lens out and toss it. Rub some cat crap on the inside of the main lens. This out to get you through next season as long as the days aren't incredibly cold. That's what I did when the same thing happened to me - got me through March and April just fine.

i have 3 pairs of crowbars, 2 have cracked inside lenses and one of them fogs up, due 100% to my own errors, oakley IMO make the best goggles on the market and i cant see myself buying anything else for a long time.

ok so
step one: is to take a microfiber cloth

step 2: use car polish i use turtle wax and gently rub i on the inside of the lens

step 3: chek every few seconds if the lens is back to clear

step4: if its not how you want it to be then just repeat the process

i did this with my crowbar lenses and they all look like new!
if you touch the screen with your nails or try removing it with them forget about what i have just said its too late your lens is now considered as shit!

it will remove the smaller ones but not all the more you redo the process the better your lense will look! but if there are huge scratches you can just hope... i did it around 5 times for one of my lens and now its like new!

when you will do it for the first time you will think you just screwe your goggles since the lens seems all matte but when you rub the exess polish off it will be back to normal

i have tryed other types of car polished but the turtle wax looks like it gives the best results

I've only skied with oakley goggles, and this has never happened to me. oakley makes the highest quality product in every field

I did this to my crowbars, but I rubbed my thumb on the inside lens and it came off, the oils in your skin maybe do it but the lens will suck after no matter what. New ones sir

to avoid the perma fog you have to take your goggles off your face or beenie or whatever a heat source could be when you are physically exerting heat off your face/head.  such as hiking.   i throw dem in the jacket until the hikes over put them on and no fog.  and like what people were saying dont wipe that shit it will wreck them permantly

Never wipe the inside of your lenses while theyre wet. Gets rid of anti-fog and this happens. If the inside gets wet, your going to have to air dry that shit, unfortunately.
