Whats wrong with my crowbars? :(

so last season i decided to ski with my crowbars, and i tomahawked and afterwards my lenses were fogged then they dried and this terrible event has happened >:(
the outside of the lens is perfect and normal, but the inside seems to be caked with a film of some kind,
does anybody know how to fix this? K+ for helpful comments

WTF THE SAME THING HAPPEND TO ME!

it happend like two days ago on whistler glacier our storys are identical to biggest pissoff ever.

It looks as though someone has busted a huge load all over the inside of your c-bars. For what reason though? I do not know. But seriously, have you tried hot water and a paper towel or something? I'm not sure if that will take away the anti-fog stuff though

its SUCH a piss off, haha if somebody did spoog all up in my specs ill drop that mofo!
but yeah soapy water doesnt help, neither does scratching it off due to the fact it would take forever and it barely helps. but ive tried EVERYTHING, lens cleaner, hot water with soap, windex, hot water and lens cleaner... the list goes on and nothing seems to help :( i really wanna tell oakley what happened but it seems like they wouldnt care at all.

read your pic comment i posted. it's the anti-fog lens treatment they put on them. if you wipe it while it's wet it'll do that. there's nothing you can do except buy a new lens, because you're right oakley doesn't care.

Same thing just happened to me yesterday. this shit is pissing me off and i just got these off a trade. im calling oakley tomorrow and ill post what they say cause my lense looks the exact same as the picture. I also tried some stuff called goof off which takes off just about everything you can think off and even that didnt work.

honestly have never had this happen to me, even when i accidentaly wiped the gogs when they were wet. or left them on my head and i was sweating. this is mad wierd

Yeah that's why you don't touch the inside of your lens. It's an antifog coating that will do that when rubbed. Even when snow gets in them you just need to go into the lodge and dry em out. Do not rub! And it's not covered under warranty.....

NEVER wipe the inside of your lens. It sucks but at least now you know. It's not covered under warranty because it is basically your fault of wiping out the protection inside your lens. At least now you know.

I have a fire lense in my crowbars, and they're ruined. I emailed and i have to buy a replacement. Oakleys stuff is so nice, but i dont know if i'll stay with them

Ok. this is the last time anyone should have to explain it. First, the antifog coating cannot be touched or it does what is seen above ad the lens is ruined. This happens with ALL HIGHER END GOGGLES, IT'S NOT JUST OAKLEY. Second, it's your own fucking fault. It says in the little guide you get when you buy your goggles to NEVER TOUCH THE INSIDE LENS. Stop trying to make a company rplace your shit because you are an idiot. This thread should be done now.

ok ya its our fault but what are you suppose to do when you have something on the inside of the lens that doesnt dry out or anything and you have to rub it. you rub it out and this shit happens. I have had to do this to plenty of other goggles and nothing like this happened. Its bullshit how they get ruined so easily when its your only alternative to cleaning your lense. if the anit fog stuff is really that bad and rubs off that easily then they have to try something else cause its alot of money to buy a replacement lens when something so unfortunate happens.

ii read what you wrote, and i stated my response, just let it dry out, I dont know what you put on there that it's not drying out but if you let it sit there for a little then it will dry out. I've had oakley goggles for the last 4-5 years and i've never had this problem with the anti-fog coating

you have clearly never had any high end smith, electric, scott, spy, or dragon. all companies use pretty much the same coating. most people i know that have nice goggles know that you dont touch the inside lens. its not that hard. also, why do you have shit on the inide of your goggles? maybe the prblem is your skiing.

Read the paper they come with and even the box itself... its says basically 2 things:

1) DONT RUB THE INSIDE OF THE GOGGLE NO MATTER WHAT.
2) Dont leave them in the sun.

It's not oakley's fault when they clearly warn you. Just dump the stuff out or just get it to the bottom out of site.

Haha he called be out for being stupid and fucking up the lenses before he even knew the case. The goggles were on the inside of the protective bag and got scratched on the inside somehow. I didn't smudge the anti fog or whatever. Im saying i might not use oakley again because they're expensive products and mine scratched super easily
