The snow honestly isn't even bad. My hill has a rain storm/super wet snowstorm once every two or three seasons. Does it suck- yeah. Is it worth all of the other awesome pow days I get to ski- hell yeah. The snow sticks to stuff and makes for some great skiing. Why did CR and Shane chose to live in Squaw? Hmmm....

Also, I can wake up on a Saturday morning and ask myself if I'd rather go to Yosemite or Santa Cruz, or if I want to go skiing or surfing, or if I'd rather go to San Francisco or LA. However, Colorado is still steeper and has better snow so there's no reason to come to CA.

All of you are wrong it's Massachusetts hands down. Blue Hills gets dumped on 24/7...endless faceshots. And there park kills it.

California sucks. Don't come here. The place gets too much snow. The double blacks are way harder than other places. The parks are filled with so called pros that make you feel like shit. There aren't really any moguls. Everyone knows that Shane and CR and Plake and all those other skiers just have/had huge endorsements from the resorts which forced them to call CA their home.

Don't come here. Colorado is definitely better.
