Utah for me. Best snow, skiing till July at Snowbird, party scene in Park City, big city right nearby in SLC, a bunch of different mtns within easy driving distance, etc.

Montana....its name is spanish for mountains, so theres lots of them.....and we have skiing all year round in some certain spots... it cant really compare to colorado or utah for amount of resorts , but i still love it

Cant beat the terrain of Squaw, Alpine, Kirkwood
Tough to beat the park of Northstar and Mammoth

Oh, and we got 800" of snow last year...700" the year before that. And mammoth has skiing till july 4th every year. plus 300 days of sun.

I'm not saying it's the best or that other states don't, but Colorado has woodward at copper (sick!), the jiberish lohi store, and many other ski related things like this, are these things also worth considering?

park= breck/keystone

steeps= telluride/crested butte

comps= aspen (x)/ breck (dew tour)

crazy amounts of snow= wolf creek

not to mention the towns themselves... (unlike mormon utah). therefore CO> all other states

Year round for the Hoodrats, and Bachelor is a short drive... not to mention lots of the Wa mt's are close enough to hit for the weekend. i.e White, Crystal, etc....
