I think S4 sounds the best in terms of quality. Rossignol makes good skis they just dont have a big team(ns style anyways) so you dont hear much about them.

I would disagree with him. I love them. They're poppy, buttery, and playful. If your hitting rails all day, they're a fantastic. If your hitting booters over 40 feet, then they may not be a great option.

They're quite different than the S7's. I don't know much about those though.

Don't get me wrong they're good poppy skis, but if you cant get a new pair every month they're shit. Not a good long term investment. Like I said they're like skateboards with ptex on the bottom they break easily.

Break? I've been skiing on mine for 2+ years and I haven't and anything "break."

I've had a wonderful experience with them and am going to have a hard time going away from the construction. Before the bangs, I had snapped a pair of K2s and four pairs of Liberty's. The Afterbangs were the first ski in 3 years that didn't snap.

Well, about 4 times a week. More rails than jumps. I live in Steamboat, Colorado, which averages about 400+ inches a year. Opening day is Thanksgiving and closing is mid April. I ski every weekend and at least twice mid week, usually hitting rails. So, I would guess 60+.

I would go for the S4s. They a-bangs probably held up because you mostly hit rails but for real the s4s will probably hold up the best

I'm not the OP...

But it's not like that's all I did. I also hit 60+ foot booters, dropped cliffs, skied pow (it's the snow type that makes it possible), and numerous other stuff.

I'm also not telling the OP not to get s4's, but just putting my two cents on the Afterbangs.

Yes I did... The good thinn is I didint get em brand new so I didn't pay 360 I only paid 140. To me they sounded awesome

i live in iowa so all we have is a decent park besides that is shit biggest jump is 20-25 feet maybe quarter pipe and shitty rails and boxes

holy fuck. How are there this many posts, and no one has mentioned that CANDIDED DESIGNED THE S4. It was his fucking ski when he was between Dynastar and Rossi. The idea that the Candide is anymore his than the S4 is absurd. It's pretty much the same damn ski, only difference is 10 degree vs. 30 degree sidewall. I've always liked a more vertical sidewall, but I only ski park on S4s, so where is your god now.
