I am so glad France lost. THey are a good team but they played like shit today. With the top scorers from Serie A and The English Premier league they should be able to score against anyone.

yea and its not like the goal was garbage either.. well it kinda was that defender on france had the assist.. but France freaked after they were loosing... they were like 'oh no.. only 2 goals were scored on us the entire last World Cup and now... this county that starts with a S is beating us??' hehe.

I am glad that France lost because their players aren't even from France. So many people in France are so racist (look how many of them vote for Le Pen) but they depend on a bunch of guys from Africa and the rest of the world to bring their country victory in one of the most important events to that nation. I think it is good that the some goodol' Senegalese won the game for their beloved Senegal.

The entire Senegal team plays their professional soccer in France. Most of the French team plays abroad. I think that's kinda weird (but sorta backs up what gdubs was sayin'). What happened to the days when there were restrictions on how many import players a club could have.

Overall, interesting. The play from France was soooooooooooooooooooo sloppy. Both teams looked like crap if you asked me, and France should have been prepared. 'OH but they were missing Zidane!', hey, hes one player, not the whole team. Slopy play all around cost them the game. They can still advancee tho, i wouldn't count them out.

yes the french team is from france. Just because they are a diverse team is no reason to disslike them. How do u get that they are racist??? some of them are black, some are white, Zidane is a fricken Gypsie. they are such A diverse team. If they were racist they wouldn't be able to play well together. u can't play that class of football and hate each other underneath. france isn't the only team that has people playing from all over. Owen Hargreaves is playing for england and is also Canadian.

1080enemy- I was just saying that in general many French people are very racist, especially in comparison to other developed culture. I mean I have no problem with the French protecting their own culture and rejecting American culture and such. But there has been a really high occurance of just blatant racism in France, just in the past 3 months there has been burning down of synogouges, lynching of Palestinians, blame placed on muslims for crime and unemployment, and an out right fascist who calls the holocaust 'a simple detail of history' and whos followers even deny its occurance becoming the second most popular politician in France. I was just saying it is kind of hypocritical for a French guy to cheer for his national team made up of foreigners, and then go out and lynch some foreigners and vote for a guy who will kick them out of the country. I'm not saying all French are racist or anything, but as far as developed country's go it is a disturbing trend in France.
