4FRNT TNK- Good ski?/ Help find me a ski/ general advice needed.

Looked for a few reviews of the TNK and I couldn't find any. I'm considering it because i can get it for relatively cheap. Plus, I don't wanna spend like $500 on a ski that I will inevitably destroy on rails.

So if you can help me find a solid ski that will be good on jumps and rails (preferably symetrical) for a good price, it would be very much appreciated.

I was also deeply considering buying next year's Atomic Punx, because i loved it so much while demoing it for a week, but i heard of durability issues with the Punx. Can anyone give me more info on them?

Durability= line skis, except bases tend to be soft. maybe next years suspects, supposedly saloma

Saloman(idk) made the skis super durable with like 1/8 inch base and edges, for east coast it's always a tossup... K2 can take a beating but aren't the best performing. Don't get amplid, edges crack first day

My friend that I always ride with was using a pair for 3 years, skiing them nearly every day. Finally he broke an edge on a rail, but he went right back and bought another pair of TNKs because he liked them. Don't know much about how they flex but my buddy does about 50/50 jumps and rails and he likes the skis a lot. Hope that helps

Sorry dub post. another good ski for a good price is the Coreupt TJ or the Candide Yard. TJs sell for $240 and yards for $220 at levelninesports.com. Shipping is 7 bucks. I just bought the TJs and am super stoked on them.

i just bought those... what should i be concerned about?

and i've heard good reviews about the tnk. my friend rode a different pair of 4frnts last year idk what model and he liked them alot. hope this helps

Which is exactly why you should just get something you can get a good deal on because they will get destroyed eventually if you frequently slam against metal bars

I don't know a lot about park skis but I will say that 4FRNT is a quality brand and they have great customer service (I've had MSPs for 3 years and no problems)

armada is your best bet. i have a pair of pipe cleaners that i have riden for 3 years and they are still in damn good condition. Armada is bullet proof

Armadas have great durability. Same with on3p, which are a little more pricey
