Without a doubt one of the best at spinning off natural features. I think Sean is right up there with Pep and Candide pushing the boundaries of what possible in the backcountry in the soft stuff.

backcountry is such a general term that its impossible to really say.. there's guys like seth and sage, then there's guys like Tim D and Charley ager, then there's Pollard and the Nimbus crew.. they all ski the BC but its so different you almost cant compare them

Short answer: no. He may be one of the best go-huge-do-tricks BC skiers alive, but as far as technicality of tricks and consequence of jumps hit and lines skied, I wouldn't even say he is better than Durtschi.

The kid goes huge, that's for sure. But he doesnt ski the lines or do the technical tricks or hit stuff with consequences that other skiers do.

Comparing skiers is like comparing art in a museum. They are all amazing at that level, it's easier to just appreciate what each brings to the table. I think Sean brings a unique youthfulness to pro ski world. Some bring intensity, some bring overwhelming innovation, and some bring a new swagger. Regardless, each individual is free to see something different in each display of skill and expression.

And thats pretty much why I'm the best BC skier of all time. After all, no other skier has the ability to make me feel the way I do when I ski. Now, if only I didn't ski like shit.

the best backcountry skier, is the one who makes the best decisions time and time again and survives big dangerous tours. you must be talking about heli/sled skiers who get filmed?
