So, you're really only going to get three kinds of bindings from NS, so I'm gonna throw those three out there right away to save the unneccessary posts.
1. Look Pivot / Rossignol FKS: Same turntable binding, different brands. Theres multiple versions of both the FKS (FKS 120, FKS 140, FKS 155, FKS 180, FKS 185). There seems to be quite a few people who prefer the 155s and 185s over the others for durability, and some say otherwise. As for the Look Pivot; there are multiple versions (P12, P14, P18). All of these bindings have multiple variations in brake sizes, race plates, lifter plates, heelpiece movement, and whatnot.
2. Next are the Rossignol Axial2 / Look PX / Dynastar PX / Coreupt PX / Roxy PX, etc. series. All of these same bindings have more names than P. Diddy. The PX 12's are the standard around NS, as they suit most people's ability / weight / price range that are on here. There are also PX 10 DIN versions for a junior binding. So theres PX 10, PX 12, PX 14, PX 15, PX 18. Most people on here do not need anymore than a 12 DIN, and many would recommend the PX 12 Ti (titanium). It's a sturdier version of an already well-built binding. There are tons of variations in lifter plates, brake sizes, titanium or not, and racing types in all of these bindings.
3. Last are the Salomon STH 12, STH 14, STH 16 Driver bindings. These are said to be very solid bindings, however good luck finding a pair of them online(esp. STH 12 Driver). Word on the street is to not skimp out and get the normal STH's and make sure you get the driver toe piece as it is a huge difference. I have never owned these personally, so I do not know much about them.
There you are, those are definitely the 3 most popular and generic "best" binding answers that NS is going to give you. I'll be honest, my opinion is probably the same as to which are the best, some people on here definitely know their shit. I've personally used the first two options and have not had any complaints with either. If I were you, I'd definitely lean toward the PX 12 Titanium for money and durability sake. Some people may try to steer you toward Markers, but I would not spend another dime on them from the past experiences that I have had with their bindings. Hope this helped you.
