Do LGB really want to include T?

I highly doubt all the normal people want to be associated with the transexuals.  Why is T included with LGB?

That's sort of a tough one to carry through because it implies transsexuals are essentially deformed.

Really, just... don't overthink it. If the miracles of modern science can do something to noticeably improve the quality of someone's life, then godspeed to them.

Deformed in the general sense of the word, no. What I mean is that one can't deny that nature isn't perfect or consistent (ie "hiccup"). Sometimes it does weird things, especially when its trying to bring about change (e.g. savantism).

Your date already assumes you are male and have a penis.  You only have to clarify your sex if you are what your date isn't assuming.

but im right, he states that you should have to say that your transgendered on a first date which is just as ridiculous as stating that you are your biological sex on a first date.

I feel like the only time a transgendered person would conceal the fact that they were such would be when they feared rejection or misunderstanding and if they know the truth about them might lead to rejection or misunderstanding it seems immoral and selfish create situation.

You have every right to do what ever you want to your body, sexuality and life in this country but if trans people are comfortable enough to modify their gender and extricate themselves from the sex they were born as than they should be comfortable enough to be honest/ proud of it. It just shows weakness and lack of confidence to trick someone not to mention mean as hell.

but its not a matter of comfortable enough to modify there gender. its not something someone chooses, no trans person would choose to be trans.

my date looks like a woman. she's biologically a man. big surprise there. i really don't feel like this needs an explanation in the first place. how is it hard to understand that it's pretty much a lie if a woman who is biologically a man leads her date to assume she is a biological woman?

it may not matter to you, but i can confidently say it sure as fucking hell matters to the majority of people.

i will say it again, if i am somehow duped into falling for the fact that somebody i reasonably assume is a female (and always has been since birth) and then i find out they are in fact biologically a male, you are going to have one enraged fucking technopotamus on your hands assuming this is in some romantic or dating type situation. I guarantee you the majority of people would feel the exact same way.

hiding a fact like that from somebody who may be romantically/sexually interested in you is absolutely NOT OK on any level. hell, maybe they won't have any problem with it at all and that's awesome, but this is not a normal occurrence or something society sees everyday and it is only morally right to be upfront about something like that.

(no implication that being transgendered is wrong in any way whatsoever, but to present oneself as a sex which you actually are not biologically, is absolutely wrong)

Because they're transgendered? I've never told anyone on the internet they're retarded, and I don't mean to start, but holy fuck. Picture this, a relationship starts between a man and a transgendered woman. The man wants to have kids and then the supposed woman drops the bomb, "sorry, I had a dick once and I can't." I'm sorry, but if you think it's totally fine for a transgendered person to lie like that just because they had the inconvenience of being a woman in a mans body or vice versa, then I don't know what to say, other than I don't agree.

My point is not that they can't have kids, but that she LIED to him about being a woman. "but it's not a lie if she doesnt say anything." What, the guy'll say "why didn't you tell me," and she'll say "you didn't ask"? What kind of bullshit is that? And with the infertile woman, maybe she should come forward with that right away. But don't compare infertility to a sex change. The guy in my example would be losing his mind not because he can't have kids, but because he'd just been in a relationship with someone he thought was something that they weren't. If the transgender ends up working it through it with his/her boyfriend and just adopting kids, then fuck it, I won't say a word. But if you're gonna not tell someone you get into a relationship with that you once had a beard, a dick and an adams apple, don't be surprised when they are extremely disgusted and leave you later.
