ah! Somebody else here knows who he is! My favourite guitarist man. His use of the 8 string is just incredible - its not just chugging on the low E. Though I feel that Javier Reyes (Guitarist #2) does not get enough recognition as he too kicks ass.




I have the amazing chance to seem Animals as Leaders on tour with TesseracT and Between the Buried and Me this december.

I missed their show with Thrice a few days ago. When I saw them in December they were insane though. By far the most creative/tasteful metal guitarist in the world. I love that dude. I just bought a 7 string, but I am now after seeing Meshuggah and listening to AAL a lot in the past few days, am wishing that I got an 8.

and I just realized I pretty much posted the same thing when this thread was first created. Nonetheless, if you have the chance to see them live, do it. It will blow your mind what he can do.
