Cant stand 99% of stanced cars....

they piss me off so much. I have seen a couple in my days well done and look decent. But i generally find, for the most part, people who do this to cars are huge tools and look like idiots driving around on the road. I have also noticed that people who stance cars usually are people who cant afford a nice car and therefor rice the shit out of their cars.
I drove this kid i work with car down the road and its stanced, thing felt so unsafe being so low and any sort of pothole had to avoid.

Anyone else out their hate stanced rice burners? Or is it the cool thing to do when your 16 and just get a new car

wow. who would have thought? a LIFTED truck can get around better than a DUMPED car? no fucking way. and yeah 3 month bump but fuck you. AND my forester is less than an inch off the ground full time and I'd be willing to bet I get up the canyon just fine every day this year.

i actually don't know what stance mean but by looking at the pictures i think it's a safe bet to say it's a car that's lowered.

i dont have a problem with stanced cars, but for the most part the guys driving them are huge tools over here.

i dont say you or all of them are fuckheads, but in my area i would say the stanceness level of your car is inverted related to IQ, minus a few exceptions. but it seems like a symbol of a way of life i dont like at all (see sociologist schulze http://tobe.moblog.ch/files/Soziologie.pdf, i know its german, but i didnt find something fast right now).

sure some look cool, but who the hell really cares? i actually drive my car, in the dirt, snow, rain, potholes, shitty roads i dont give a fuck. Dont have to worry about a thing and it gets me there just fine.

if you wanna waste money on your car like that be my guest, but in 5 years when you realize how much money you wasted by lowering your 95 civic just so other people can think your cool??

i stanced my downhill bike the other day. dropped it 8 inches in the front and 9.5 in the back, shits hella flush, the low center of gravity and zero suspension really improve overall handling. keep an eye out for this trend to start catching on in world cup races, i'm calling it.

pics or it didnt happen- ohlins doesnt make coils they make dampeners which are used in Stassis coils- and a set of ohlins dampeners runs over $3k- which no one in their right mind would ever put on a stanced car


so basically youre saying that you spent well over three grand on coils used to stance your car- and before you say race car no-one who knows enough to buy ohlins would ever actually own a jetta as a track car


and those prices are for basic entry level ohlins dampeners- the dampeners on our formula sae car were 7 grand
