Cant stand 99% of stanced cars....

they piss me off so much. I have seen a couple in my days well done and look decent. But i generally find, for the most part, people who do this to cars are huge tools and look like idiots driving around on the road. I have also noticed that people who stance cars usually are people who cant afford a nice car and therefor rice the shit out of their cars.
I drove this kid i work with car down the road and its stanced, thing felt so unsafe being so low and any sort of pothole had to avoid.

Anyone else out their hate stanced rice burners? Or is it the cool thing to do when your 16 and just get a new car

yes my friends and my cars are such rice burners( only a few of them i could keep going with the pictures if you'd like), although i'm sure they would all kill you in a 1/4 mile expect the slow ass miata. form and function buddy..welcome

Nick's M3 is f*cking spot on. Pretty much perfect stance on some CCW Classic's. Not really any room for improvement there.

And it's called air you retard. It's what allows you to raise your car up for 'drivability' and lay frame when you're feeling it.

Withh you on that, but the OP was complaining about avoiding pot holes.. Which I would do regardless of clearance issues.

But back to your point, static all the way. Nick's static I'm pretty sure, but the MK4 definitely isn't.

Most people who stance their cars have a passion for it and love their car greatly. Stancing helps people project there style. I mean sure, you have you opinion but you gotta respect it in someway. Also i feel u jelly of most of the cars.

i never said i hated all stanced cars, as the audi and that bottom picture are pretty awsome looking cars and are well done. But going through the stanced car thread, just looking around at what is in their most of it is such rice burner crap. And rice burner=stanced in my eyes. For me, as well as most poeple i know, a rice burner is any car that generally sucks, and make it become a lot shittier but doing retarted things to it. On top of all of this, what a god dam enormous waste of money it is to do these things to your car. Not preaching what people should do with their money, but all that money to just lower a car and make it look worse and more useless? cmon now

As much as I regularly would agree with you, I hate HATE it when people act like piece of shit cars are all of a sudden awesome when some douchetool o/a torches 2/3 of his springs out and are then relegated to 86 point turns and a radius akin to a megayacht because they're rubbing tires. 

Just because it's low doesn't make it awesome.

I am pretty sure the OP is talking about the douchy kids on the block who drive riced up honda civics, no one here can argue that those guys are the worst. Their cars are really only lowered stock cars with a big muffler...

Nice stanced cars are fucking awesome, you can't go wrong with a well done stance on a nice car (not a honda)

I like lowered cars, I think it looks pretty good, but as my friend says, lowering your car doesn't make it any faster. Kids who lower their 80's Civic and think they're hot shit are what piss me off.

style is all subjective man. just because you think its a waste of money doesn't mean its a waste of money to the people doing it. depending on the car, i think a low stance looks good. however I can't stand stretched tires, thats just dumb.

my ex's current boyfriend has this shitty old honda civic hatchback that is stanced and has a huge muffler on it. he thinks he looks like a total badass in it but really he just looks like a fucking idiot.
i have nothing against stancing cars that actually tear shit up but unless you're driving an r32 (or you're a fuckin loser) there is no reason your vw golf should be stanced.

2 They look pretty awful in my opinion. They are older shittier cars, which honestly i dont understand the desire to drive something so shitty, and turn it even shittier.

that car with the blue and white paint job on it looks absolutely horrendous, not to mention how rice all of those cars look. Every single car in this thread looks so shit and so riced. Besides two cars. The audi a8 and that giant truck which is pretty badass. Dont hate on me for being a fan of nicer cars. I just feel like that audi a8 was not really overdone. Still, if i had an audi a8, the last thing i would ever do to it would be stance it as you totally ruin the entire car and what it was made for. Comfort, luxurious ride. Gone. I laugh at the opinions and how fucking stupid these cars look.
The bottom line comes down to this, any one who stances there car just wants to make it look nicer than it really is. And they only look better to themselves, not anyone else on the road. They look so dumb. A kid i work with stances cars gets a new shit one like every 4 months, every one looks awful. I bet if anyone on this site who likes stanced cars got a brand new high end car such as a s class, a8, m3, r8, ferrari, any sports car for that matter, they wouldnt do a dam thing to it. Same goes for these shitbag cars. Why do something to make your car look awful and worse, regardless of how it is in the beggining

im fine with having cool unique rims and lowering a bit, but at a point dropping it lowerr just makes it less functional, which im not ok with, also fucking with the camber just makes it look like you hit a massive pothole and broke your car. but thats just like, my opinion, man.

And please don't generalize all people lowering their cars just to make it look better. There are plenty of people who lower their cars for better handling on turns.

Also, none of those cars really look like "ricers" other than ol' rainbow up there.

pretty badass truck....which brings me to this point. Personally, i wouldnt drive a lifted truck because i really dont need one at all. But a lifted truck is 10000000000000x more functional that a stanced car.

people stance nice cars all the time. google "stanced m3" and you'll find a ton of gorgeous cars that are fully functional, probably even more functional than the stock versions. That's not the only nice car that has been stanced, but comon now.
