what wood did you use?

also, how long was it outside? how tall is it? and how was it built?

nevermind, we sanded down the whole thing and varnished it later....it was outside 6 months but under a roof so it wasn't to damaged..
now its finished and ill be posting pics anytime soon! we just need to find a cheaper turf or an alternative to it, because its too expensive...

go to home depot. the turf if reasonably priced there. get it in precut rolls and its way better.

if all else fails, you could use pvc, but that is kinda last resort, so i wouldn't recommend it. good luck though

you're obviously not looking for the right stuff. you dont actually need astro-turf like at a field. all you need is that indoor/outdoor carpet stuff that is green

Well it comes in other colours as well. I have black because that's all the store had.

i forgot to say that im from argentina, so imagine as if you had to pay 3 times the price of turf...well thats what i would be paying for turf here in argentina...for you to get a clue of what we spent on turf (because we actually got it in a place which was kinda "cheap") it was like 150 dollars on turf, thats even more than the cost of the wholer drop-in featured in the "how to build a summer setup" thread...in the other places it was like 200 dollars....
nevertheless, we managed to sort out every problem and this is what came out! hope you're as stoked as we are to shred it tomorrow fot the first time...ill give you +k for everyone that helped!!

Well unfortunately you purchased it already but a less expensive way could have been plastic lattice if it came out to be cheaper per square foot.
