Skiing high actually increase skill?

I know there have been a few posts on skiing stoned but I couldn't find a thread on if it actually increases your guys ability to perform in the park. I mean I agree skiing stoned is fun but if I am genuinely workin on a new trick and as focused as I can be I usually go at it sober. You guys the same or no?

some people say yes, some people say no. it's all personal preference.

Personally I don't ski park high because I just get lazy and whimp out of stuff. But if I'm in the BC I'll bring the porto-bong with me.

i think it helps me in a way. When im high i relax my body and i dont over process things so when im trying a new trick i dont wimp out because im not thinking of if i fall what will happen. when im sober i have a fear of the consiquences which i know i will push in the back of my mind once i progress more but deffinently if im high i learn more and try more then i would sober.

depends what kind of high I get, a heavy indica high will make me have no desire to ski at all, but some good sativa will make me much better at park

also, ski pow while rolling, that gives a whole new definition of fun ;)

I ONLY GOT HIGH ONCE WHILE SKIING ON A TRIP AND THE ONLY THING I REMEMBER IS THAT ME AND MY FRIEND'S FINGERS WERE COLD AS FUCK SO WE WENT INSIDE AND ATE FOR LIKE 45 MINS THEN WE WERE LIKE FUCK IT AND WE WENT FOR A SWIM IN THE HOTEL POOL

first time i smoked skiing we were hiking a rail filming and i wanted to get like 5 tricks and i had them all planned i hiked the rail 5 times and got all 5 tricks. need less to say i was stoked. but whe i do i usually just do 3's and try dumb stuff.

depends on a lot of things, but as a general rule i do more flowy tricks when i'm stoned, and more technical tricks when sober. not really better or worse just different

being high definitely helps me stay consistent when im doin park laps and all that, and i feel like i land shit better at times.

it really all depends on how used to riding high you are and how familiar you are with the mountain.
during the winter in pa i would smoke the whole time and be good with landing all my shit.
but when i went out to hood in the summer and smoked some dank medical buds on the lift i was fucking my shit up on the timberline jump line.

Yea I get different highs on herb, sometimes I won't feel like doing shit and lazy, but sometimes I get in the zone and all concentrated which was when I learned rodeos.

one of my friends was explaining to me how during snowboard pipe quals at the xgames most of the athletes are straight hammered or on some level of fucked up. she didnt make it past quals so no idea how it is during finals.
