i want a new dog. my mom has a lap dog, so something that wont kill it. i want it to stay inside too, so nothing gigantic. and it cant shed (or at least not too bad). what would you guys recommend ?
But if you're completely set on being a little bitch and not getting a big dog, get a pug puppy, but kill it as soon as it grows up because then they stop being mint.
i would highly suggest a labrodoodle. I have one and they have a great temperament. If a labrodoodle is to big for you, they make miniature labrodoodles
the nicest/most fun dog ive come in contact with was a rotty. just depends on how you train them, and thats for any breed. my first dog will be a rotty, boxer or pit. for you get a pitbul if you can handle the energy and can put in the time to train it. i mean you're going to have to train any dog, but pits can take some work. they're awesome dogs tho
Get the cutest pup you see at your local pet store, even if they are mutts. I have 2 mutt german shep/ manchester hound and they are awesome, my mam suprised me when i got homme one day with two cute pups 9 years ago and as i type this they're both actually sitting up on the settee each side of me. Just get a dog, don't raise it to be an aggressive guard dog and take it on LOTS of walks.
Winner. Doesnt shed, really rugged, lap dog. Give it a lot of love and it will love you back. My sister got one. I thought I would hate it but as I type to you guys he is sitting right next to me looking out window. He loves the snow too...
id recommend a labradoodle. theyre as smart, if not smarter than normal labs, dont shed, and are super super friendly and loyal. i havent heard a bad thing from anyone owning one in all the research ive done. they're wonderful dogs.
the key is they dont shred, which i saw was one of your criteria. most of the large dogs above do indeed shed.
Boxer, They dont shed that much they are great with little dogs and they are not too big but no where near a lap dog either. They are not too spendy either, i would get a male because they are generally more low key and not as hyper. I had one for ten years and he was amazing very well behaved and was great with people.
