Dont know if I should tell kids on here about this (although I am sure most know) because they will torrent so much that their computers might explode.

But KCNScrew works abou 90% of the time and has more programs than you even knew were possible to exist (they dont have torrents, just serials, cracks, and patches).


If you read for the twixtor, make sure you delete:
Library/Preferences/REVisionEffects/Twixtor5Fx
Library/Preferences/REVisionEffects/TwixtorPro5Fx

before you install.


I dont need money by the way.

To be honest, the last thing you need is Twixtor. Twixtor is the most played shit right now and it will do nothing for you aside from making your edits seems EXACTLY like every other 14 year old kid's gopro edit or some shit. plus twixtor is decently hard to use well, and almost nobody on NS actually knows how. just don't do it. i have it but i've never used it once. nobody really wants to see twixtor in edits anymore.


and i tell you this not to sound like a douche, but because i want to help you avoid hate. if you just use regular speed and more subtle slow motion, you will become a much better filmmaker and your edits will stand out more.

Landis actually said something interesting to me the other day. He mentioned that the less you use slow motion (or 60p), then the more dramatic it becomes.
No need to make something Twixtor slow, just use slow motion properly and you will get the desired effect.

i don't really see how that works. maybe you or landis could explain a little more what he meant?

i just like to use less slow motion because it's much harder to edit that way, so i feel it makes me a better filmmaker. it's also harder to show off the beauty of your shots when everything is real time, which adds another challenge. when everything's in slow motion, every shot looks beautiful and epic. too easy

He means, use normal motion to build into slow motion and follow it with normal motion and its more dramatic.

I could care less whether you guys think it is an amatuer move to use it. I want it just to have it. Not saying im ever gonna use it but its good to have if i need it

ohh i see, yeah i agree with that. i thought he meant that a clip at regular speed is more dramatic than one that's not.



and OP, we're not trying to be dicks, we're just trying to give you good advice. you may want it 'in case you ever need it', but i can tell you right now you will never need it. like i said, i downloaded it when everyone was jumping on the twixtor bandwagon, but i have never used it and don't see myself ever using it in the future. if it disappeared off my computer right now i would not be any worse off.
