pulling up a nice steelie cannot, and will never, ever, ever, ever, EVER, compare to hauling up a 600 lb tuna....

then I am guessing there is a fly shop around you. Start hanging around in there and take one of the beginning fly fishing classes they offer. Try to find some sort of local fly fishing group because starting off is all about fishing with people that are better than you. Maybe ask for a guided trip on your local water from your parents for birthday or whatever and you will learn a ton. Its really not super hard to learn, and is one of the greatest activities ever

I have not pulled in a 600 lb tuna, i was on a boat that pulled one that big in though.


this season though i managed to grab myself a 170 lb bluefin, that is not me in the pic, it's my uncle

this season that's the biggest i've caught, although 2 years ago i hauled in a 300 lb bluefin, the biggest fish i have ever hooked.... my parents have pictures but i unfortunately do not know where to find them haha


and i regularly catch stripers and blues, filet 'em myself too
