sobriety test

one of the guys on my softball team got sobriety tested, but was perfectly sober...anyway he failed the sobriety test, blew, and was let go...anyway we were sitting there between innings, and we were screwing off, and half of us tried the shit they ask you to do, and it was HARD...try balancing on one foot with your eyes closed and touching the tip of your nose...i practically fell over

and the alphabet backwards, haha FORGET it, i dunno

just thought it was funny...try to do it, maybe were just all unatheletic, but it was hard

i got as far as X backwards then i had to REALLY think...i dont understand the point of a sobriety test...all cops have blood alcohol analyzers, why not just use THAT

When I had (and I mean had to) to pass the sobriety tests, I handled them fine. In the heat of the moment I nailed them. I don't know if Id be able to now.

i failed that too. the cop was pissed cause there was 40 other drunk people so eh couldnt really do any thing.

the alphabet backwards is simple. all you need to do is practice it once or twice. i can actually do it backwards faster because i am not thinking of the dumb tune it usually goes to.

dude I could never say the alphabet backwards, but to me that's neither here nor there. What I'm wondering is why the hell a sobriety test is required of a softball team, softball and drinking go hand in hand. It's like on the simpsons, 'you get to first base, you chug a beer (etc. etc.)...oh and the third inning is the beer inning'

yeah. so like everyone, ive had my share of drives home late at night when under the influence. ive never driven really drunk cause thats just stupid but especially since im underage if i got caught with even a little id be done. ive always driven pretty well though and never got pulled over. the one time i did get pulled over was when i was completely sober. i dont even remember what i did (probably just cuase im black and was driving a bmw....but i guess im not black...im just hardcore) to get pulled over. but they WOULD NOT LET ME GO. i guess they didnt want to use the breathalizer but they did basically every other test possible and just refused to believe i was sober. as i was doing them they just kept saying i was failing and wree trying to make me admit (wrongly) that i had been drinking. i even supposedly failed the 'policeman stares in your eyes and comes to his own conclusion youve been drinking' test. i juust kept saying 'look, ive had nothing to drink. i swear what else do you want me to do' eventually they let me go because i passed the close your eyes and count to 20 test even though it seems like that would be the easiest to get right if i had been drunk. they didnt even give me a ticket for doing whatever made them pull me over in the first place (reckless driving or something i guess) they just really wanted to get me on a dui. so yeah...gray davis is a fucker

I can say the alphabet faster then I can say it forwards... Learned it all shitfaced couple months ago, and now it stuck with me for the rest of my life. Just learn it in parts... ZYXWVUT...SRQPOMN...LKJIHGF...EDCBA

Actually, in most states it is illegal for a cop to ask you to recite the alphabet backwards, because the vast majority of people cannot do it. When they ask this, they are looking for you to respond ''I can't do that sober''. Its a trap question, and can negate an arrest (for lack of cause) if the question is asked. Thought you guys might want to know that.

And the stare the pen as the cops stares at your eyes is a body function, when you are sober, your eyes go side to side slowly, when you are drunk they move more irradically.

if you have been drinking and you get pulled over, here is what you do. Take you keys out of your car, put them on your hood, also take a bottle and a shot glass on your hood. Slam the shot right in front of the cop, then tell him you're gona call a friend to pick up your car. If he gives you any test it won't matter, because he cannot prove you were drinking before you took the shot.


You can say anything you want if you don't mean it.

haha yeah right..my friend took a shot like 30 seconds before we got pulled over and when he got his number it was like a .2 and he wasnt even drunk. he got fucked over
