1. I really hope this doesn't get more coverage than the attack in norway. What happened there is an absolute tragedy.

2. Addiction is almost impossible to get over, compared to drinking and driving which is just plain stupid. I have more sympathy for someone who was making an effort to turn her life around versus someone who couldn't use the common sense not to drink and drive.

definitely. don't get me wrong, she was a complete train wreck and her death doesn't surprise me in the least, but when you're in a position where you are respected and represent a company, you also take on a responsibility that includes watching what you say. it sucks, but if people don't like it or can't handle it then they should take on a job where it doesn't matter what they tweet, a taxi driver perhaps.

Yeah, I mean... It's one thing to be Ironic and say something to the level of "she should have gone to rehab", because... well... her attitude she displayed about what probably could have helped her didn't win her any extra lives...

But to say something to the basic extent of "it's about time it happened" is a bit too far over the line, and a bit too soon.

famous or not, it's a shame when anybody dies at such a young age. it is especially a shame when that person took part in such unhealthy habits, thus accelerating their death. either way, it's a shame that somebody who probably had a lot of potential, as we all do, died so young.
