This is probably a terrible fucking idea but what the hell. After reading an epic argument on best gaper quotes I'm fairly convinced that woman really arent very good at skiing (sorry). Here is my proof:

The proof is in the pudding and its easy to see whos better seeing as if I had tits I could have won the Woman's gold just saying not trying to sound sexist or mean but their really is no other way to say it. My real question is can any of you fine ladies in the NS community slay harder than one of the most established female skiers? If so post a video and I'll shut my mouth forever.

Think about how many kids on here want pro skiers' dicks. They are willing to turn around their sexuality due to some random guy's skiing ability.
If an already attractive girl was doing the same thing, I'm pretty sure that would be every male skier's fantasy. Heads would explode. I think everyone's just impatient with this process and wanting that dream to come true, leading to pointing out the "progression" all the time. Might not be the main reason but could be part of it.

And it's easy to hate on the internet, but probably every guy on here would be stoked to see a girl do pretty much anything beyond straight airs and 50/50s in the park in person.

Lol its funny you mentioned this because after seeing it once its always the part I skip over. Its not that its necassarily bad but it definitely lacks the flair of Wallisch, Dadalis and Hornbecks segments.

the point i'm trying to make with the previously posted videos is that when it comes to physical sports, men are almost always going to outperform women purely based upon our physical characteristics. when's the last time a woman broke a man's world record. it's not sexist, it's purely a fucking fact.

so you little fucks are sour because you have the same bag of tricks as a girl, but she gets paid and you have to ask mommy and daddy for gear.

also, before you go bashing kaya's run, i fucking dare you to even TRY to ride the x games course. i did once (years ago) and it is the scariest shit ever. you landing the same run in your local park is no match to her run, the jumps are so close together that it's fucking terrifying.

THIS. i rode them in the aspen open this year and i am a fairly descent park skier. i dropped back to the level of just doing threes off every jump because those jumps are fucking MASSIVE.

it is about 60 feet to the knuckle, 70-80 feet to hit the sweet spot. BUT, the step down on those jumps is ridiculous

while i clearly defer to your skiing abilities and knowledge, let me say this: man come on! sure that run was better than i could do, and those jumps are scary, but calling herself a professional athlete with that shit is lame... fuck man sw 5s with shitty grabs should not win a PROFESSIONAL comp. its not even like its a style vs dubs debate. she isnt even that steezy. grabs were far from locked and arms were all up in the air and shit. you yourself could stomp her exact run on that course far more cleanly than she could, and you are far from a comp skier. label womens' slopestyle amateur then i wouldn't have a problem with it or their ability at all, but that shit just isnt professional and doesnt deserve to be called so.

the comparison has to end. WOMENS SKIING WILL ALWAYS BE BEHIND MENS. Unofortunately for you, you are not responsible for deeming people professionals, or not. They are paid to ski. From the sounds of it, they care a whole lot more about skiing than you do. Quit wasting everyone's time please. Can we delete this thread now?

IF there are 13 year old kids with little boy bodys doing dubs then i think a full grown woman could. And all it would take for womans skiing to go far is for 1 or 2 pros to do dubs in there x games runs and that would make everybody have to learn them

if you want the womens spor for the better to change it you have to stop saying what we ALL KNOW and help change it...if you see a girl at your local mountain struggling..go help her. try to be positive about the girls sport and actually understand that yes they arent as good as men but progression can happen. all of these thread sort of kill the spirit for girl skiers. whats the point of all of these threads? so you can tell all the girls that we suck? if you want to make a change with the womens sport quit making threads about it and do something about it. when i go to my mountain i go 110% because i want to be able to be one of those girls to change the sport and help it progress.

i challenge you to find one example of a women being on the same level as a man in any sport. Women are pro because in comparison to non pro women they are significantly better. Same reason men are pros. Girls are not capable of everything men are(that is not meant to be chauvinistic), they simple have physical and mental barriers that men do not.

Ya dude there are 14 year old boys that could kill a women's slope style, but its basically a completely different sport

Comparing men and women in sports is comparing apples to oranges.

The running and the racing example are completely different. Slopestyle and pipe have absolutely nothing to do with getting somewhere first. A better example would be gymnastics. To my knowledge, girls and guys are doing pretty much the same thing, and they are both doing crazy shit.

Believe me, I am stoked when I see a chick in the park. But when every single run is straight slides and straight airs, it's like "come on try something already." All the chicks I see in the park are skiing with guys, they should have at least some intention to try and learn some new tricks. "I'm scared" doesn't cut it, I'm scared to try new stuff too but that doesn't always stop me.

And "threads like this are what scare girl skiers away"? Really? Threads like this should be pushing them to try new tricks! I'm not hating on girls skiing, I'm just saying that girls have no reason to not to progress more than they have.

well if you're going to ignore the obvious parallels between the racing, then why the fuck aren't you pissed about women's snowboarding too? their slopestyle has been around longer than women's, and she literally had the same run as kaya.

and it's not an "i'm scared thing". women are chemically geared for nurturing which heightens their sense of self preservation. this means less risk taking, which is why you see such a small population of women in high impact, high speed sports. you being scared to try something new is completely different than a girl being scared to try something.

you kids are just fucking ignorant, but don't worry, you'll grow up someday.

If i saw a thread that called out my whole sport then i would seriously reevaluate whether i wanted to continue with the sport. These threads make it seem like every guy skier hates girl skiers because they suck.

Has it occurred to you that girls might be content to just cruze through the park with straight slides? hell i have the most fun when im just lapping doing easy shit. Maybe they are having fun doing what they love? Not everyone skis to push themselves, some just do it for fun.

i mean then is comparing men and women intellectually or based upon salary discrepancy like comparing apples to oranges? I'm sure saying that women have deficiencies that men do not with regards to academic ability would not go over well, and i certainly believe that women are capable of anything men can do. living in a democratic nation means that everyone is treated equally, whatever race, sexual orientation, or gender, and should enjoy equal rights. people are all equal and should be treated as such. people put women park skiers on a pedestal, giving them an unfair spotlight on their sub-par abilities, when many dudes who try as hard as they can and are way better than the women are simply glossed over. that is not equal treatment. i resent the fact that women park skiers are paid to suck. at least pro women in other sports perform to the best of their ability (just look at women's soccer, some bomb games in the last world cup, sure it's not men's but impressive nonetheless). pro park women do not perform to the best of their ability. i for one refuse to believe that sloppy sw 5s and the odd sw 7 are the height of what women are capable of on skis. you can do better girls.

Theses threads definitely push me to get better. But as a point....people don't progress at the same speeds. Have you ever stopped and thought about maybe how long this person's been skiing or learning park? it took me a few times to get comfortable being in the park let alone hitting stuff. But now i could care less, i'll hit anything, i'll try new tricks.
Some of us aren't very competitive either, so it learning new tricks really fast and progressing really fast might not be a huge issue for some. I'm super competitive, if the guys i ski with try something, i have to try it but a majority of girls aren't like that.

very very true. But i think i made this point in another one of these stupid threads, that compared to the competition in mens skiing, we have what [in park at least] maybe 10 girls that are actual competition between each other? and when no one new is throwing down and coming into that scene they're always competing against the same people, and when you know you could win with a 7.....there isn't a whole lot of motivation.

i'm not saying it's a good thing at all. Just looking from a different perspective. It is frustrating especially when we see the guys every year pulling out some of the sickest tricks i've ever seen and we have small amounts of progression. But then again, guys, every year have new kids, throwing down, coming onto the scene pushing everyone to new limits. Look at Torin Yater-Wallace. I doubt it'll happen anytime soon, but I'd love to see a chick on Superunkown.

thats the reason why, its like womans skateboarding girls just do it because they want to be one of the guys, in essence they dont really care about getting better they just dont fit in with other girls, or want to be THAT girl. granted pro female skiers aren't like this but still when you have a fan base that doesnt care if no female pro riders are throwing  dubs at all, and a gold medal run consisted of no inverted tricks. i just feel with mens skiing you have these kids who go hard all day in the park, hoping to be pro, with womans skiing they just are like ok i can do basic slides and a 360 so i can talk to my friends about it. this is just a theory because the girls that go to my school and ski are like this, and because all high school girls want is attention, and without a solid base the sport isnt going anywhere so i see womans skiing falling apart in the next couple years

I'm just gonna say that women's centre of gravity is slightly lower than mens centre of gravity because their pelvis tends to be larger compared to their body size. Men's centre of gravity is closer to their sternum, women's centre of gravity is in between their sternum and belly button. Also lower centre of gravity means you are more stable, that is why generally women are better dancers because they can balance much better than men can. This should really help women with stable spins in the air and being more stable on rails yet they are not. Also you're centre of gravity does not affect how fast you can spin. I don't really have too many issues with women's skiing after seeing some non pro female skiers trying doubles, these up and coming athletes are really going to push the sport for female athletes. The current pro's though, I think they should step their game up.

This thread should just die, but what I was getting at is the amount of mass men carry in their shoulders is going to allow them to have a fasrter spin rate, by creating greater momentum around their center of gravity or moi, which is not debatable

i mean nah dude, not really. but i'm not a big sports fan anyways. i was just trying to say that i know women's skiing will never be as sick as men's, but i definitely believe they can certainly do a lot better than they are doing now, and the shit they are throwing now doesn't really deserve that much props/
