I am one of the sledders in the video, the sport is called free sledding, it really doesnt hurt your knees that bad because there is thick padding in the sleds.

I have a mad river rocket. I need to start getting my ROM back after having knee surgery. Hurts to kneel :'(

Such fun sleds though.
