So I'm a chronic procrastinator but this time I really dug myself in a pretty deep hole.
So I have a philosophy presentation tomorrow (25%) about how I'd justify killing as wrong and I decided to take the social view and the idea of holding the social fabric together.

So basically what I'm asking if for people to post ideas for slides so for example :
" Aristotle gave his views on murder by stating blah blah blah"
(put picture of this) (ask this question)

and whether I can use it or not K+

1. This is summer school for a course I don't need so there is little to no profit in getting a good mark.
2. I will use google from now on because "google search" and "I'm feeling lucky" are a lot better options then "bitch like this topic is an attack against all my moral beliefs" and "hey I'm gonna try and teach you a life lesson that I know as well as you do you don't care about I just want to sound intelligent"
3. excuse me for thinking that some of you were capable to think "hmm I have a good point on this topic, why not simply share my opinion"

and OP, im not really good at this at all. all i got for you is that all of us humans are on the same level of the social hierarchy; we all have the same intrinsic value. when someone kills somebody else, they have given themselves the power to take away life, and put themselves above others. we cannot have this power (no one cares if you shoot a deer(theyre on the psychological level of the social hierarchy, below us)) and so killing someone places someone above others, upsetting the equalness among all humans, which is what can tear apart the social fabric you speak of...

i tried. dont really know what you mean by picture but maybe you can use something in there to help

You don't deserve help but here is a place to start. Talk about the three natural rights for every human being which include life, liberty and property. Life, you have the right to live and not to be harmed by others; Liberty, you have the right to do what you please as long as it doesn't break the "Life" principle; and Property, you have the right to own stuff that no one can take away from you.

To kill someone clearly violates their right to live which makes it wrong. If killing others was acceptable, our world would be chaotic. These three principles are necessary to sustain a society where people can peacefully coexist.
