Full Tilt Performer Liner vs. Pro Liner

So I have Hotdoggers with the pro liner that I sold to a buddy of mine because I need the next size up. I'm looking at getting dropkicks next year and just getting the 6 tongue because everyone at my mountain rocked the Hotdoggers. Other than flex, the only difference is the liner, is the performer liner found in the Drop Kick going to be that much different from the pro liner found in the Hotdoggers?

if im not mistaken there is only a difference in foam density. the only difference thatll make is that the performer will pack out quicker. the boot life span may be shorter but most likekly not really worth the hassle. the other thing is that it may not have the jbar thing on the back that is a stiffer part designed to hold your heel down. i can't attest to if you will miss that or not because i have konflicts whice have it.

The Pro Liner (in the Hot Dogger) is BY FAR the superior liner. It's probably twice as thick, which gives you more to mold, and holds your feet in better. It's warmer, and much more comfortable. I had a pair of 09 Booters (which the performer liner) then got last years doggers and you can tell a difference, the pro liner is just so much more comfortable. Don't forget about the Classic, if you don't want the "Tom Wallisch" boot, the classic has the pro liner, but also has the rigid boot board (like I'm assuming the Drop Kick has, but I'm not sure).

Oh, that sucks, yeah, last years had the pro liner. I guess it makes sense cause it is sort of a price point boot.

Thanks alot for all the responses. I guess i'll be looking for last years T-Walls like I had or an older pair of Classics.

The semi-confusing thing is that while FT calls them all Pro Liners, the aftermarket Pro & Wallisch & Konflict & Seth all use different outer treatments which do change the fit and feel of the liner. So be aware that if you try on a Seth boot and buy the aftermarket Pro liner, it will not fit and feel as firm the Seth does.

But now I'm curious....can you get a 12' classic with a pro liner?

Nope, on the 2011 model they changed from a pro liner to the performer liner. You could buy a pro liner separate but at that point i'd just pay the extra for this years Hotdogger instead of last years.

Yeah this years hotdogger jus doesn't look good to me...my local guy is convinced that FT is gonna work for me....I jus don't like the way most of em look next year...the booter looks sick but it's a cheap boot and won't serve my purposes anyway....thinkin the classic is the least goofy lookin...I jus want a better liner....the knoflicts would be perfect if they didn't resemble a turd...oh well guess I'll figure somethin out.

Yeah thats why I'm just probably going to go with last years T-wall Hotdoggers like I had. I like the look but sooo many people at my mountain had them. Whatever I'll dye the tongue or something.

Yes you can use rit dye. There is a thread somewhere where people were dying their boot parts. As long as your dying them a darker color than what it starts as it will work.
