am i the only on that thinks that daryl keeping the ears is more fucked up than the walkers in the barn? but i am curious as to what daryl is going to do in response to that vision, is he going to strike out on his own, stay with the group, etc.

i don't know, but i'm glad daryl didn't actually die. i would have stopped watching the show. fucking love that guy. he's a survivor, and that's how i'd envision myself acting (or wanting to act) if there was a zombiepocalypse. gotta be self sufficient and look out for #1, no fear.

according to the comics, the walkers in the barn are relatives who were bit. the tv series loosely follows the comics. i have a feeling they are gonna bust out though. carnage like in the first season when they were ambushed at camp.

that episode was fucking awesome and totally made up for how slow the previous few were, daryl almost died on three separate occasions and i was shitting myself

as for the walkers in the barn, as the guy up there said ^ , Herschel keeps them in the barn because they are friends and family (Maggie's brother is one of them) but its not because he is finding a cure himself, but because he thinks they are still human beings and it is wrong to kill them. also, he thinks that when a cure is developed, they can be saved. at least im pretty sure thats whats up.

for anyone who knows the comics, i hope they leave the farm soon and go to that gated community. that would definitely pick the show up.

my conclusions so far

daryl does not give a frickin shit!!! such a badass. i was throwing all kind of fist pumps and high 5's when he pulled the arrow out of his side and domed a zombie with it. that shit was OG. im curious to see what happens, now that we know that subconsciously (or not) daryl feels like he is the group's redneck bitch. it'll be interesting to see if he goes off on his own or sticks around.

i think within the next 2-3 episodes shit is gonna get real. my guess is that sophia will either be found as a walker, or that she will be somehow tied into a plot development/the big picture.

i think the acting can be shitty at times, but i am fucking hooked on the story, they can go so many directions with it!

they find her as a walker and the farm people manage to convince some of the people that she is still really alive, (because they might keep all their relatives as walkers) and then there will be a moral divide between our group, like how shane thinks rick is too soft... i might be an oracle.

They are just other members of the community, As I see it, the farm is essentially a self sustaining community that is just trying to live and since they are out in the boonies, they don't get that many zombies coming their way.

That's my thoughts at least, so it makes sense that there will be families that we have not from the community yet. Herschel is just the Rick of the farm people.

don't let someone who read the comics ruin it- from what i heard the people who made the show differed it from the comic a decent amount, largely so that the readers will still get to enjoy the show and not see everything coming.

so much happens in this show without anything really happening. its really weird. they are still at the farm... they have been searching for the girl the whole season. its really exciting and all and the show is sick but seriously, i just want them to move on. itd make the show much more exciting.
