I think that when the doctor told rick that everyone was infected, he meant that everyone possessed possible a gene or chromosome that allowed them to be infected. I think you have to die before the chromosome or gene reacts or whatever and makes the person a zombie.

Even though rick killed shane out of self defense, he definitely defended himself like shit. I would've said something along the lines of "he killed the kid to lure me out into the woods, brought me to a field, put a gun to my head, and was going to kill me. I had to kill him out of self-defense and to protect the unity of this group." rick totally came off as a huge douchebag with that little rant of his at the end

Yay, I've brought up the helicopter like 4 times in this thread, so glad they mentioned it!

Okay we agree that was clearly the only good episode of the season. Feel like the writers have finally gotten into their groove and now the show will be good.

When they all met up so quickly I was like c'mon make this interesting and keep them seperate...at least Andrea is seperate.

If they returned to the farm.

Its a good thing Shane killed all the walkers in the barn.

Kinda was hoping they killed off more of these idiots.

still did a bad job of explaining why all the walkers were wandering around in the woods. it made it seem like it was like they were following the helicopter, but they didnt follow it in the first season.

going to a prison will be awesome, but i bet they wont be the only ones with that idea. maybe Merle will be there? not counting on that though.

also, does the lack of gun recoil in all the shooting scenes bother anyone else?

Season three is going to get fucking crazy. This is the part of the comic that gets real dark and evil. If they cover even HALF of the brutal scenes, it will be the craziest show ever.

Stoked on the episode. Michone sounds badass. Read the wiki for all the comics so I know what happens but I'll keep my mouth shut. Next season should be dope, can't wait! They ended it well.

I have a feeling the group of 30 is gonna meet up the "the governer" and Rick is gonna confront Merle.

Daryl is eventually gonna do his own thing as well as maybe asianboy.

I will! This episode kind of cemented my thought that while they have taken the show into another direction than the comic when it comes to lengths of arcs and some characters, the main plot will probably not deviate a lot from the original. They basically did in this final episode what they could have done in the third episode already.

I'm looking forward to Season Three with a lot of hope.

I used to like it back when it had more verisimilitude.

And yes, the fact that they have a whole show afterwards talking about it is fucking stupid.

Comparing that to fans voicing their opinions on an internet forum are like comparing apples and oranges. It's a sign that the show has become incredibly hyped and that AMC is just milking it as much as possible.

I really do get that complaints about the show. Season 2 could've been much better. They spent way too much time on stupid bullshit (Sophia, well zombie, Shane/Rick/Lori), and a lot of the dialogue was forced or even cringe worthy. However, I thought this was them desperately trying to cling to their civility. Their personalities are changing, and you're not supposed to like certain characters. Lori is SUPPOSED to be a bitch, Carl is SUPPOSED to be an annoying little fuck. The comic wasn't all that interesting up until this point either. NOW is when the story takes off. If done right, this show could become one of the greats. They could easily fuck it up though. I'll wait until season 3.
