Not one of... He is the best character. I think Merle is gonna make a comeback in season 3 or maybe even the finale. Something had to provoke those zombies and I don't think there just now smelling the 50+ cows that have been sitting on the farm all summer.

Also how did the kid die? His neck was broken by Shane, I know but I feel like a zombie can live with a broken neck (or am i wrong cuz the brain stem is down there). If i'm right someone else is out there scoping out the group.

Herschel said that when the weather gets colder the swamp hardens and you can walk on it without getting stuck, so maybe it's just hard enough for all the zombies to walk over to the farm now.

all i really care about is that next week is going to be an all out battle for about an hour. the logistics of where the zombie horde came from doesn't particularly bother me, i just wanna see some headshots.

oh, and carol and hershel are definitely dead.

Randle is dead. I know you must mean Darryl and I hope not too. First guy at the bar Rick shot in the head. They also may not have stuck around long enough for the second guy to turn, whether he would or not could take any rate of time, but judging as he was fat I would say it would take longer. So therefore we wouldn't know whether he turned or not.

Rick didn't know for sure that everyone was infected cause the chick that told him was insane. After he killed Shane he knew for sure. If he told the group before it would have probably just caused everyone to panic.

Also I was kinda hoping Andrea would stay alive, when she was on the ground with the zombie about to munch oh her I thought "If she dies, then the only other plot the series will follow next time would be that of the group" So when I saw that zombie get his head chopped off my some person in a hood with other zombies chain to him/her I was pretty stoked

does anyone else feel like Rick defended his killing of shane very poorly? like he should have emphasized the self-defense part and how he had no choice. now he's going all hitler on everyone and that bitch carol is spewing nonsense in Daryl's mind, she better die.
