Yeah, they just went around making sure the fences were sturdy and such. Shane went into the barn to kill the hostage kid, but he decided to take him out into the woods. When did you start watching?

Pretty sure the virus is airbourne and everyone is infected, but the virus doesn't actually kill you. The reason why people die to walker bites is due to being bit by some diseased infested corpse who is carrying god knows what. Which would explain how it all started as people who die from natural causes would just come back to life and well cause the epidemic to happen.

yeah but they were headed out when they figured out the kid didnt have any bite marks or anything and somehow turned into a zombie..im sure they'll come runnin out of the woods perfectly when rick and carl and headed for the house

I agree with lamerthan, Daryl is the best character in hte series. I hope the finale has a scene with someone yelling "THERE WAS A FIRE FIGHT!" and Daryl unloading on a bunch of zombies..............with willem dafoe dancing in the background too

Finally watched last night's episode. The last scene was pretty intense haha. Not sure how I feel about Shane's death yet. He was kind of getting out of control, but I feel like without him and his sometimes rash decisions, the group is gonna be in trouble. I think next week is gonna be a huge zombie showdown and we're gonna lose some more characters. I'm thinking Andrea after we see her running alone through the woods in the preview, and as much as I hate to say it, I think Glen is gonna get bitten and have some last romantic moment with his girl and then she's gonna kill him.

I agree, but its a shame because glen has always been one of my favorite characters. however it could end up being the other way around because in the preview it showed maggie in a car or behind some kind of window banging on it surrounded by walkers. who knows.

Anyone find the episode to be extremely boring/waste of time until Shane gets killed?

Also its possible that Shane was infected by the knife that Rick stabbed him with.  I know this is very unlikely, and its more likely that the virus is airborne or in the water supply or HOW ABOUT ALL THE TIMES THEY KILLED ZOMBIES WITH NO REGARD FOR THE BLOOD SPLATTERING ALL OVER THEIR FACES.

Killing off Shane was such a poor move in my opinion.  They spent all that time developing his character just to kill him off in a mediocore way...to advance the plot? Have one 'OMG they just did that' scene?

And now its like yes that dangers finally starting but there's one more episode left?  What was the point of this season?  It's been boring the whole time.  If I could pick any zombie apocolapyse to be in it would clearly be this one, there's like absolutely no intensity, thrill, or threat of danger.  Basically as long as your not retarded you'll survive happily on a farm where you get to have nice moral debates about ethics in a lawless world.

In the comic glen ends up staying with them on the farm so I don't think they'll get killed off. If Andrea survives I'm gonna rage, that bitch acts like she's the greatest thing ever where all she's done is shoot Daryl and wine about not having a gun.

Well, again, people who have eyes and ears or have heard of the comic have been waiting for Shane to croak since Episode 2. Now they developed him to be a real psycho so killing him wouldn't be too irrational, a last resort, something they had to do or else.

But there's still one more episode coming up? Awesome, I thought this was the finale.

did you not see the massive fucking horde of zombies coming through the forest? how does that seem like a happy survival?

I also wish the show was more tactical and about actual zombie survival too tho. Like how easy would it be to find that 50 head of cattle they have on the farm, lure the zombies into the cattle and then get the fuck out while the zombies are chowin down on really rare steaks?
