"Avid brought the troops together to emphasize its commitment to the professional market, hammering home that their focus is us: the editors. It was good to hear at a time when some industry people and businesses are feeling abandoned after the release of FCP X. "
"Avid reiterated that they are not sacrificing features, and the interface will be able to look like previous versions if you do not like the change."
Avid is trying to take over the market! THANK GOD!!!
Cant wait for this 64 bit Avid to come out. I cant stand Premier and I know I am not alone there.
This might be the time when everyone switches back to Avid (if they have not already), and Avid is trying their best to be friendly to the FCP users. They even offer free training for people making the switch. I think they call it, "Avid for Final Cut Pro Users."
So stoked for this.
For those of you that do not know, Avid is a $2300 program, but is only $300 for students that comes with 4 years of upgrades!
The new UI looks great and Mac friendly too!
