There are absolutely NO exceptions to any of the Marketplace rules. By posting in the Marketplace, you agree to be held liable for any infraction of these rules. Not knowing any of these rules is NOT a valid excuse for any infractions.


In order to use the market place, each person must have been a member for no less than 90 Day's and have a minimum post count of 50 Posts.

Do not start listings with all CAPITALS in the TITLE, it will be deleted.

There are no commercial postings. In order to sell on Hypebeast.com forums, you are not representing a company. You are an individual who wants to get rid of their extra stuff.



Rules for For Sale listings [FS]

* You are permitted ONE listing per forum. Edit your current listing with new items instead of creating a new one or PM "Admin" to close your current thread (make sure to include the URL in the PM). Violation of this rule may result in a ban/suspension from the Marketplace, with or without warning.

* No eBay Links are allowed.

* Picture Requirements

1. At least one picture is required for each item you are selling. If your Listing contains no pictures, it will be DELETED.

2. In your pictures, you must have your HB Forum username written in legible standard block letter
English on a piece of paper next to the item you wish to sell. The name card can be either hand-written or typed out. There are no exceptions to this! A paper tag is required - having another object "represent" your tag is not in compliance with this rule.

3. If you post pictures that aren't yours or are stock photos from another site, the post will be DELETED.

4. Pictures must be clear and easy to see the item, low quality camera phone and web cam pictures will not be accepted.

5. Bumps to your listing are permitted once every 48 hours. You can ONLY bump your own listings.

6. You must have been a HB member for at least 90 days AND have at least 50 posts to post a new listing. No exceptions!

7. You must be the owner of ALL items you sell! This means it is strictly prohibited to sell for friends, users who do not meet the selling requirements, or banned users. Selling for friends will result in a suspension/ban for both users.

8. Please make your selling post is in the appropriate forum under the correct section. i.e. if your selling clothes put it under the clothing section, and if your selling shoes put it under the shoes section.

9. Detailed information about the shoe. Brand, model, what it comes with, details about the shoe itself. Be SURE to include all details on the condition of the items - including any marks, scuffs, etc. Leaving out critical information regarding the items is prohibited and considered fraud.

10. Include a price range and/or items you are looking to trade. Also include any additional contact information.

11. When selling multiple items, they should be put together in the same thread (if they fit within the same forum). Multiple listings in the same forum will not be tolerated. You are permitted one listing, per forum, per month.


Rules for Wanted Listings [WTB]

* Attempting to use the Wanted forum to sell or trade your items is strictly prohibited. First time violations will result in a ban from the board or Marketplace. These forums should be used to list items you are currently looking for, not items you are currently looking to get rid of.

* Bumps are permitted once every 48 hours and may only bump your own Wanted thread. Users should use Private Messages to contact topic posters if they have items that fit their wanted list. Do not contact users with items that do not fit their wanted list - repeated violations will result in a ban from the Marketplace or board.

* Please post your wanted thread in the correct subforum (Clothing for clothes, Shoes for Shoes), or Wanted: Other Stuff if you are not looking for shoes or clothes.

* Include the year, brand, model, and color of the shoe you are looking for. A picture of the shoe in the colorway you are looking for (optional, but helpful).

* Size and condition you are looking for.

* Price range you are willing to pay.


General Marketplace Rules

* Counterfeit items: variant or fake products are strictly prohibited from being listed. It is up to the seller to guarantee the authenticity of anything being sold. Therefore, any members posting any and all fake items listed in the Marketplace, whether intentionally or not, will be banned without exception. If you are unsure whether an item is authentic, DO NOT list it.

* Do not post your Listing in more than one forum. Only post in the relevant Listing forum, and only post one thread, per month, per forum.

* Any post not formatted properly will be DELETED without warning. Follow the rules the first time to prevent your topic from being deleted. Repeatedly posting a listing with rule violations equals being banned from the Marketplace and/or the board indefinitely.

* Hypebeast.com is not responsible for any transactions or agreements made within the Marketplace. While we do our best to root out fraud, you are taking a risk using the Marketplace. Use caution and understand that we cannot refund you if a transaction goes wrong.

* All gimmick posts will be locked. This includes raffles, contests, etc.

* If you believe you have been defrauded using the Marketplace, DO NOT make a new topic about it. Please read this topic first.

* Rules are subject to change without notice. By posting in the Marketplace, you are hereby agreeing to adhere to these set rules. There are no exceptions to the above rules under any circumstances.
