you said it wouldn't turn on, then you said you formatted your card in camera... how does that work?

If you're on a mac, open up disk utility. It will erase all data on your card, then you can reinstall ML. Should do the trick.

google is your friend, or if you have a friend with a mac and an sd reader, you can do it on his/her computer

you've bricked your t2i. the only way i am aware you can fix this is put your card in another camera if you have one, if not borrow a buddy's or gf or someone and run a low level format. then put it in your camera and it should boot up, but ML won't be running, so you just need to re-install everything again. this may have happened by accidentally deleting one of the ML files off your card.

Uhm you might've already said, but is your SD Card locked? On the side of the card there will be a little switch that says lock and if it is just slide it in the opposite direction.

yeah man, but it's an easy fix. just run the low level format so the sd is empty then do the exact same install you did, install it on the card, and on the camera. that should fix it.

how am i supposed to reinstall it on the camera when it won't boot with a card in it? will doing a low level format allow it to boot with the card?

also i went to target to do a low level format on the t2i they have on display (lol) and it still wont boot with the formatted card with nothing on it. its weird, it autofocuses and i can see whats going on with aperture and what not in the viewfinder, but no recording/picture taking/lcd action.

it's definitely bricked man. that's the only way i'm aware that fixes it. if it doesn't run with the formatted card then i don't know what to say. sorry man, your best bet i think is to email some ML developers.
