im making some rails for summer setup and when early season comes and i get some snow. whats the difference of puck board and hdpe pipe? is the only difference puck board is flat and can be used for a box and hdpe is a pipe and more of a rail? and if i get either one will i have to use any kind of lubricant or anything for my skis to slide well? or will i only have to use water?

I'd use the pipe and use water to help you slide when theres no snow
