Moving to Japan

Soo a while back I made a thread about the JET program. Anyway it turns out I got in and now I'll be leaving for Japan in a week. One of the big bonuses was that I got placed in Hokkaido so I'll be way up north. Hokkaido is known for its powder and ski resorts all over Japan and I'm fuckin' jazzed about it! Just thought I would give you an update if anyone even remembers lol. I'm gonna be on the coast but you're never too far from decent skiing. If you're ever in the area hit me up with a pm and I'd be glad to shred/give you a place to crash.

You guys know of any decent ski manufacturing companies in Japan? It's not really practical for me to ship my current ones and I don't really wanna get stuck with some shitty used rentals or something like that.

I lived in Hokkaido for 6 months. Great place.

I would say check out Vectorglide. It's a Japanese ski company that is fairly popular.

JET is short for the Japanese and Exchange Teaching Program. You are hired by the Japanese government to go to public schools (elementary through high school) to be an assistant in the English classrooms. It's basically so the students have a native speaker that they can listen or talk to in order to better improve their English abilities. Here is the URL for it: http://www.jetprogramme.org/.
