i have avery diverse wardrobe. any person with a true sense of fashion knows you cant rock the same brand over and over. however i love my brooks pieces and think others do too

Um that is the worst fucking description of Brooks Brothers i've ever heard. Like, ever. Literally ever. That would describe, like, Gareth Pugh or something super avant. Nothing about Brooks Brothers is fashion, except Black Fleece, and even that isn't very fashion, it's just a little bit more idiosyncratically styled and cut.

Anyway, IME, the only reasons to own Brooks Brothers are a) Black Fleece and a distant b) the slim fit and extra slim fit shirts. Everything else is pretty balls but that stuff is pretty good. I have 4 suits, a jacket, couple pairs of pants, some shoes, about a dozen shirts and almost as many ties, all Black Fleece. I am wearing a Caruso-era double breasted navy linen BBBF blazer right now, actually.

i spend most of my money on clothing so i know where you're coming from. i'm just about to buy a $500 suit jacket. not because the $1800 jacket didn't look good on me too, but because i don't have $1800 to spend.

so jealous.good to see other people realize how this stuff is worth the price. and yea very good point about the slim. im very slender and just get pissed off shopping when everything is so damn broad. one of the many downsides of living in obese america i guess
