Skimboard help

anyone skimboards?
I am thinking of buying a foam skimboard.i already own a wooden one but i reeeeeally want to shred the waves. please help:hould I buy a slash skimboard e glass or a s glass, or I shuld stick to victoria foamie/ultra.price also matters, i live in croatia so shipping is very pricey.anyone knows some stores that sell them in europe?

i ride roush creations witch are out of santa cruz california. it might be on the expensive side to ship, and if you are a beginner it would be hard to get used to. the victoria foamie is a very night board if you are just getting into it, i have had 2 and loved them, but once you progress to a higher level you might want something a little lighter. But a foamie is a great board for beginners to high intermidiates.

skimboards are one of those things where you truly get what you paid for and while i havent paid attention to the industry of it for a few years now, it's in my opinion not something you want to try out new brands on and stuff... i'd say stick to vic or one of the other major companies.. i have a slotstik and love it, but right around the time i bought mine they stopped making them i think cause the main dude died, so i dont know how many are around anymore.. but i had a vic poly vac before that and loved it but liked the slotty (pro vac) twice as much

so yeah don't skimp on it i'd say. just my 2 cents

i have a victoria poly and i love it, but its a bit pricy. My friend has the ultra and its very similar, but easier on the wallet

i had one they're fun as fuck. but the waves at my cottage are shitty as the sand drops off really fast so theres like 3 ft of water to slide on.

I have a victoria foamie, great beginner/ intermediate board.
Don't forget the wax/ traction pads. They are necessary.

And def go for a good board...you get what you pay for

woods are fun but I have a carbon Apex. much better than wood for wave riding.
