Okay say I downloaded an entire game from xbox live marketplace...and now I wanted to download another but I don't have enough room on my hard drive. Does anybody know if it's possible to delete my older game and then restore it (or re-download it) at another time for free since I've already purchased it once?

Yes of course it's possible, but it would probably just be easier to buy a flash drive like 16-32 GB and use that as a storage device side-by-side with your HD.

I'm not sure if you can delete it and then regain access to it without buying it again, I wouldn't want to risk it at least, but i'm not positive. I'd say your best bet is to get a memory card unit and just put it on there instead of your hard drive

Answered my own question, when I went to delete a game it said "The profile used to originally download this game can be used to download it again, at no charge, for as long as it is available at Xbox Live Marketplace."

You can delete the item and your account will recognize that you purchased it. If you want to download it again it will be free. You will not have to pay again for an item you already paid for :)
