Site Suggestions Thread

There a lot of threads floating around these days with members ideas to improve the site. Some are good, some not so much. Ether way I though it might be a good idea to get them all in one thread. Then the mods/admins can scroll through it at their own leisure instead of going on site discussion and seeing the same idea they saw three months ago.

Personally I think it would be cool if in your profile page there was a section, "recent edit" and "favorite edit" where you could embed small Vimeo videos to play.

That's just my two cents. Feel free to add your own.

Extreme crackdown on BST. If people don't post pictures, a descriptive title, and prices, the thread should be deleted.

The current Karma system is also kinda useless IMO. I think they should do away with the points and just display the average 0-10 rating from other members. That way you see which members are actually helpful/douchebags, instead of just whoever has the most pics in their profile.

Also people's profiles should say when/why they have been banned. That way people might not act like retards if everybody knows each time they get banned.

No way! Because of NS I am leading this contest for a free trip to Myrtle Beach, and the kids I am going with all know its NS helping, so they each said if we win they will donate something to the site/members.....

For ski contests maybe, but for others, I mean, I know I don't post a lot of serious stuff on this site, but honestly, NS seems to be pretty tight, and I'm getting a lot of help for something that if I win, NS will be represented in some way

fantasy freeskier would be sick! also ns store and a new video section as everyone has been saying! but personally my number one thing I want done is the reply box to be fixed and load faster andhave the icon uploader fixed!

+fix the searchbar so it actually somewhat works ....

+update karma calculation algorithm

+have a flag function for spam

+instead of rating members 1-10, let us rate posts/threads with likes/dislikes,
then mods could even implement some sort of auto flagging if a certain post gets downrated a lot and they can perhaps take measures if needed ....

just my 0.02$

if a thread gets deleted, it still appears in "my threads" and it's kind of annoying that you don't know why it got deleted, so perhaps make it so i can hover over the thread and see why it got deleted, or if i click on it, link to a page where it's explained ....

i'm just so goddamn curious about what happened everytime a thread gets deleted :)

ie. why did the orange name thread get deleted ?
