i've got an 08 impreza L sedan, love it except for the fact that i've replaced the windshield twice in a year due to the rearview mirror falling off and taking a large chunk of glass with it.

that's what's so bizarre, i have honestly barely ever even adjusted it and have never hung anything from it. first time this occured i was driving home from work on a very cold night, went around a hard left corner at about 50 and a crack went from the mirror across the drivers side and the mirror instantly dropped. my car was at temp after letting it warm up for at least 10 mins. second time was like a month later i hopped in my car to got to work and the mirror was in the seat with once again a chunk of glass attached and a hole in my windshied. my fiance works for subaru int'l and even he is stumped, guess it's just bad luck or my fricken car is defective idk.

anyone ever drop a turbo in to a stock forester? buddy and i were talking about it at work with his. seems like a cool idea, but i'm not sure if the engine would hold. not to mention everywhere i googled said it wasn't a good idea.

Fuel pump, oil lines, injector, intercooler, turbo, tune. Parts and labor just seem to far to go n/a to turbo. Starting an already turbo'd Subie seems easier, cheaper, less risky. Unless just a full block swap.

why is my 1999 legacy idling high randomly? sometimes (40% of the time), when put the clutch in to shift the revs will stay high (2500-3000) until i shift into gear. also it will periodically rev at 2000 while stopped and in neutral. gunked up throttle body?

What rack is that? The body on the saabaru is a bit different than the oroginal, but does a normal thule rack made for a subaru work?

A thule rack for an 05/06 WRX would fit the Saabaru. The Yakima on there is fitted for an 05 wrx. the bodies are quite similar, its mainly the front fascia and rear end that are Saab. The rest is Subaru
