Ok, I just got it and really stoked on it! Its my FIRST CAR. Its a '97 Subaru Impreza, it has 186xxx miles on the body, but with a swap tranny and head with only 10k on both!!! I stole this baby for $1100!!! It has 3 amps in the back with subs, but one is blown so he cut the wire to it. Work Im going to do to it is take out the amps cause it takes up a ridiculous amount of room for the amount of watts Im getting, so getting a newer one, take out all the dents you see, repaint it black, take out the tint in the back window cause its really bad and blurry, and if the money is right, maybe some gold rims. Love the car, Im open to suggestions to what I can do to it :)

My subaru. It's a 98 Legacy. Second one I've owned (totaled the first one). Her name is Suby Q 2.

This is her with roof rack and a box. She's a mean road tripping machine. I've put close to 80000Km on her in 2 years.

So as a new utahian, I'm curious, is it normal for me to floor my 96 2.5l outback going up the canyons?

Is it just the altitude and hills slay the power (Haha) in its engine?

a few problems, sway bar is loose I think (I hear a creaking from the rear)

the remote un/lock doesn't work on the drivers door, but works for all the rest of them. the only way to lock that door is do to it manually. any suggestions?

If any of you have an 04 forester 2.5x, you know the seat pull down handle things? Maybe other years have them, they're like disks on a stick and you pull them up to put the seats down? One of mine snapped on the stick holding it up, anybody got an idea on how to get the leather off without destroying it? I'd think this should be a rather easy diy fix, just get the leather off and attach a rope so that pulls the seat down.

And how replaced their shifter knob with a ski pole handle? Was that on a subaru, cause I wanna do that on mine.
