I just downloaded a genesis and a snes emulator on my computer to pass the time and have been playing oodles of Mario and Sonic, as well as oodles of other fun titles. What old consoles did you have back in the day and what games do you remember playing when you were a total kid?

The last great cartridge system...

I dont even give a fuck, it blew PS2 and Saturn out of the water for the most part... even without having CD media... The games were just EPIC.

Streets of Rage. So fucking badass...

1. Theyre all 22 or 23 years old, and already EX COPS.

2. The chick wears a super duper short mini skirt which is obviously hot.

3. You could be a BLACK GUY and kick ass.

4. You were able to beat the shit out of people with lead pipes and baseball bats, and you were able to break glass... a 12 year old's dream.

My favorite old game is definitley chrontrigger no doubt.

Consoles: Genesis with every fucking mod biatch, Snes, Nes, PS1 for mega mans, intelevison, n64, basically every console since the 90's.

My bro is going to UoW for computer sciences so he's natraully addicted to video games.

Back in the days when games had more of a meaning then just shooting shit up in a very linear fashion. With a few exceptions + the very few good shooters. Old games were more fun for sure and actually made you think. Not to mention super dificult. Who can actually say they ever beat the sigma stages of a megan man x. Only thing i hate about nintendo, is Megan 64 was the worst shit ever. And no one has 3 hands stupid fucks.

I'll always be more of a Sega fan than Nintendo fan (at least until 64.. that shit was awesome) but damn... that monstrosity of Sega GenesisCD32x was fucking ridiculous... took like 3 power cords to run... Sega CD didnt have very many great games, 32x went right back to being a fucking cartridge and made CD useless again, and the Doom game, which was like the only reason i bought it had a bunch of missing levels and shit and it looked worse than the PC version and then overall, just the original genesis was way better than the rest of the addons anyways.

Sega Saturn was dope... but it then ran into a wall with PS2 and 64...
