So I have a 320gb portable hard drive with all my media on it, I back that up on a 250gb other drive. The 250gb is now full so I would like to get something that's about 500-1tb and was wondering if it would be best to get something like this? (package deal)
I also have a computer in my basement, older one running xp. Would it be good if I got a internal HD and just installed it on that? then backup my portable on that ever couple of weeks? I just want another drive to back up my portable in case it fails. Also, could I just pick up any internal hd and would that fit in it? or does it have to have a certain type?
Basically I'm just looking for the cheapest, most fail safe method to backup my 320gb drive.
