Looking for a good, cheap flash unit. Interested to hear what people think about their current setups and any regrets they have. Already read up quite a bit on this thread: https://newschoolers.com/ns/forums/readthread/thread_id/576663/ but I'm still having difficulties on deciding what to buy. Like a good percentage of people on this site, I am leaning towards a set of AlienBees (either b400's or b800's) but am not sure which would be the smarter purchase. I understand that each one will excel in different areas, but I plan on using my flash for mainly sports photography (skiing, wakeboarding, skating, etc.) As for a wireless system I have not a clue. Pocketwizards are supposedly the most durable and have the furthest range but if anyone is using CyberSync transmitters and receivers and could give a review it would be greatly appreciated. I'm pretty much trying to figure out EXACTLY what to buy, where to buy it (best prices), and get some understanding on why that system over the other. Thanks!
