What happened to my Youtube player?

So... all of a sudden my Youtube player looks like this. Why?
Is it like this for everybody or did I unintentionally change something? Help me out, cause it's horrible...

picture doesn't work for me, but i presume you mean it has turned black and stuff? im pretty sure it is like that for everybody, just an update like facebook always seems to do

Yeah. The player, that has been white for like 9 years ever since YT started is now black. So ugly.

google got the new look for google plus, probably did the youtube player redesign while they were waiting on user feedback for that.

Its ok except they need to make it high res. I made a video full screen and almost puked.
