I just saw this in chairlift diaries maybe 2012/2013 nordica skis...TJ pro model? look dope. i'd be surprised if these were them though. my buddy from back home has worked for nike for the past like 5 years and I called him up to get the low down. He said they're different than any other ski boot so I'd expect something a little different. either way i'm stoked-- nike makes good product

anyone see what jossi was wearing at the dumont cup? he has been wearing all black boots at keystone since the end of january, perhaps the nike prototype that you guys are mentioning?

yep i saw him at keystone too i saw him adjusting the strap which had nike 6.0 logos everywhere. but the shell was all black pretty stealthy

I honestly am so sick of seeing this. Why doesn't everyone understand that this site deals solely with FREESKIING. Everyday on the lift I get at least one person asking me "What skis are those? What brand? They look really different." Guess what, I ride Armadas. And I'd be down to ride other skis as well, this is just what I've got since price matched quality and they have a good reputation. The point is, within skiing in general Armada is definitely not Burton and not some evil corporation.

Snowboarding is snowboarding. There isn't freeboarding. There wasn't an oldschool vs an newschool, so being a Burton of skiing doesn't even translate. If anything K2, Rossi, Salomon are big corporations that you guys hate. Just because people have more Armadas now you guys have to be indie and buy something nobody else has. And I understand your point Rudager, but this phrase has just gotten so old its annoying.

I think you miss my point...

Within out community, Armada is well known. Top athletes, and some pretty fucking good gear, and they make everything, just like Burton. That's why people say it.
I never said nor hinted that Armada was some massive, evil corporation, nor have I gone hipster kitty and say that I wouldn't buy Armada, and I'd rather support the "indie" brands.
Armada makes good stuff, they lack a charging ski that is over 190cm though. That's all I have against them.

I also (nor do I think anyone really) hates the massive corporations like K2, Rossi, or Salomon. Why would we? They all supply top notch products, and they all promote and support the industry. Nowhere do they take away from the industry.

not really, someone just switched from a solomon rider to ft's it might have been ahmet, so solomon will make their boots skinnier for their riders, or they just dont fit them properly.

I understand, but it's just that phrase has been thrown around a lot pretty lately and I think it leads to some false representations for the brand. And yes I do agree they lack skis for bigger guys, seems they just don't cater to that hardcore niche of freeskiing, which is just fine as now ON3P pretty much occupies that area. You can bet my next pow ski will be a Caylor, but for park, etc. I'll be riding Armadas for the previously said reasons.

Here is a 2013 Orage Jacket.It is one of their 20k tech shells. The fabric is cool, it sorta feels like a super sturdy softshell. It has a nice skiny fit, It would be cool to see their other stuff share this cut.
