I just saw this in chairlift diaries maybe 2012/2013 nordica skis...TJ pro model?

haha eg2 dominating the market huh? Those are the MOST hideous goggles to date. I have a hard time believing that the eg2 has out sold any oakley goggle. Take a look around chap. Everyone and I mean everyone has splice/crowbar. There is a reason for that.

Stumbled across this while looking for scratch/s4 info for next year. The storms look like alot better then this years, but more importantly im pretty sure next years s4's or scratchs are the ones with the black to the right of the guy...

the rest, you're absolutely correct....when you account for goggles that cost $70, bucks, I'm sorry I should have been clearer on that.

by no means is electric more successful than Oakley, what I should have stated, is that Oakley is losing a shit ton of it's core business to electric's eg2, so much so that oakley made one just like it and is potentially dropping the splice in the next few years.

don't know where you ski but I rarely see anyone with eg2's, if anything oakley is really competing with the smith i/o's which are extremely popular

I dont know where you get your info from but you are so wrong. EGs takes away no sales from the splice. I bet the ratio of splice to eg2 is at least 80/20. 80 of course the splice which is an awesome goggle btw.

oakley is no way below electric. i love my eg2s over my old crowbars since they fit me i have a huge head so i need all the view i can get but oakley offers so much more and people trust the name more than anything
