all the idiotic surface hate drives me up the wall. They made one bad ski and have since stepped their game up, everyone who it didn't directly affect needs to get the fuck over it. Everyone says that they're park skis have shitty durability since the whole 9 life fiasco when in reality the double times are the best ski I've ever ridden, no durability issues at all.

/rant.

those surfaces are beautiful, their topsheets make my jaw drop year after year.

Just thought Id let you guys know, 9 isn't dead ;). They got their 12/13 lineup and it's looking dope to say the least. They also changed their pressing factory (now skis are made by élan) so expect an improvement in build quality

I agree surface hate is usually unwarranted. The 191 live life is still one of the best powder skis I have been on.

anon's are pieces of trash, their lenses scratch really easily, their fit sucks and the foams peels like a mother fucker, a gripe I also have with oakley.

secondly, maybe you weren't around, but a few years back jake burton forced all of his subsidiary companies to fire their freeski teams. (RED, ANON etc.) This included some freeski legends like Eric Pollard and TJ Schiller.

That to me, was a slap in the face. Then starting last year where do I start to see Anon being advertised? Freeskier and Powder.

So, no, I will not support Burton or any company under Burton, because fuck that company. If Jake wants to make his companies "core" again than that's his business, but it's up to the consumer to decide where their money goes, and I'll be damned if my dollar goes to him.

They are fucking sick for powder skis, but a good friend of mine has gone through 4 pairs of No Times after 3 days of skiing on each pair. I mean he pretty much only skis rails (and he goes HAM the whole day). Another friend of mine landed backseat on a lincoln, kind of knuckled, and the tail of his left ski was bent up at a 45 degree angle. They have been really cool about warranties though.

i'm on my 2nd full season on my ninelife's of continuos rail thrashing and they're still holding up fine, only thing is a tiny part of edge missing, which i consider good for mainly riding only rails for 2 season.

btw i live in wisconsin, all i can hit are rails & 10-20 ft jumps.

with the 11/12 gear thread last season we had a bit of trouble with armada we would find pics but they would be removed only hours later......they are usually the only brand that is real anal about keeping their next years products from being seen by the public

The Orangeish yellow topsheet and orange bottom with black linewritten is the new Line Traveling Circus Ski. It is pretty much the Line Anthem but just with a diffrent graphic.

TC really liked the Anthem nd asked if they could bring it back. So now its the TC ski

The Chronic has a Super bright pinkish orange top and a black base with LINE written on it

no compton has been riding the chronic. see his weak episodes. the orange on the chronic is not pinkish at all. they have different bases also. the ones that will is riding are black bases i have also seen other riders with white bases
