Video Conversion Fail

Each time I try to load this video it always says conversion: fail. I have tried to upload it on four separate occasions. Is there something I am doing wrong or is there something I can do to resolve this? Its a 32.4MB wmv file.

It probably doesn't like that you are uploading such a short/low quality video that it is only 32.4mb.

If you put some effort into making a real video, the system will recognize you for it and do the conversion.

If you're too lazy to do that, you could just upload it to youtube or vimeo.

Basically random types of videos won't encode. The issue with videos is that you can make them in such an insanely wide range of formats that we just don't have them all ready to go.

Try exporting in a different format. Or, if you can't do that, send me the video and we can add it.

Our new video system will be much better at dealing with this - so if it ever launches then that might fix it too. :)

it can be stubborn but it seems to like .mov files with h264 compression.
