I know im not actually going insane. Just my thoughts are all over the place. So many differnt things going on in my mind at somepoint I feel like I am just going to spontaneously combust and my heads gonna explode. I know I'm not going insane...But it feels like it.
I taught myself to take 15 min power naps - best thing I ever did. Not only do I get to doze off, an internal alarm wakes me and I feel like I got 8 hours. I'm totally refreshed and ready to move. I do this on long car trips a lot when I'm drowsy. Pull over, knock out for 15, and get back on my way. They're so amazing. It blows my mind every time I wake up and feel as refreshed as I do.
How is it even possible to take a 15 minute nap? That's barely even enough time to lay down, close your eyes, and get comfortable, let alone sleep enough to feel rested.
Power naps (15 mins) are for those who reach a state of being drowsy, you know that point where you feel like you can barely keep your eyes open. You wake up before you enter deep sleep, which quickly revitalizes you. I've been doing them for 8 years. I can't speak highly enough about them.
Not when you want to take a nap but when you need to take a nap, I'm talking barely able to function type fatigue and then you fall asleep instantly set an alarm for 20 minutes or so and boom, feel absolutely refreshed. It does suck a lot getting up since you didn't exactly revive yourself with sleep but pushed it off for a while. I don't know, maybe it's just me but they help a lot.
