i cant explain the difference, but if you showed me both i would like to think that i can.

that being said, i gave up caring about people being unable to differentiate skiing from snowboarding, and ask me a bunch of snowboard questions because "snowboarding is cooler" or whatever

also, just got my halos mounted true center with fks 140s. looking at them, theres more tip than tail, despite being exactly center, because the mounting footprint of the heelpiece is smaller/different than the toe. its no more than a centimetre at most, and its not going have any negative effect or anything, but looking at it drives me goddamn insane

I'd say 45% intelligence, 40% random chance and prior situation, and 15% other personal factors that are not intelligence (personality, likablility, appearance, fitness ect.) but these numbers can change a lot depending on the issue.

laser is like the reverse of a tre, with a heelflip instead of a kickflip and a front 3 shuv instead of a back 3 shuv.

Inward heel is like a varial flip but with a heelflip instead of a kickflip.

I started skating regularly like 2 months ago, and I still don't understand goddamn hardflips.

I'm just really happy right now cause I've progressed more in 3 days than I have in the last 3 years!

I've been uber timid on jumps, boxes, never tried anything just did the big mountain thing.

But I'm here in Mammoth again and the park is flooded with athletes. Henrik, Phil, other Inspired peoples are here as well as the usual Mammoth peoples and It's leaving me sooooo stoked!

Tried my first rail ever, started doing down boxes, started doing gapped boxes, started landing on boxes from the side. Did my first 180's onto a big small jump (built up large since it's a girlfriend jumps so it feels bigger than it is) and even went for a switch 180 today. Small grabs on the big jump. Figured out how much I need to pop for the towers. My mind is fucking blown. Its like I went from super awkward in the park to figuring things out on 1st/2nd try. WTF happened to me this summer?!

I'd like to credit the Insanity work out thing for some of this. Didn't realize that getting really into shape helps so fucking much.

And I have bruises everywhere, so that's cool.

Hahahah they did a 20 minute interview with him, but then only aired 4 seconds (we counted) of what he said, completely taken out of context. Hes now the poster-boy for the (as the radio host called it) Orwellian society the banks over here are trying to create. I kinda feel sorry for him though, being misquoted like that is awful.
