Felt bad for the dude though until his team got mad at me for taking and landing the resulting penalty flick calling it unsportsmanlike conduct, whilst their dude decided to essentially stop a goal with his face if it was his foot no one would have given a shit.

man being on post is scary enough even with a facemask, that guy is an idiot. that's not unsportsmanlike at all though, he wasn't wearing a facemask so it's technically his fault he got hurt, not yours. it's such a horrible sound when someone gets hit like that though. once someone on my team lifted a sweep to me and a guy on the other team intercepted it with his forehead. the resulting sound was earth-shattering, and there was a LOT of blood. always good for mid-game morale haha

The sound is quite horrible.
I'm never in a defending corner, every team in recent years now has a drag flick specialist and my face is important to me, even face masks don't help when someone does a well good one.
Opponents were total tumbling dickweeds, 5min later apparently his brother came on the pitch and he immediately flung his stick at my legs after I had long passed the ball and then he shouted obscenities to me, ref only gave him a yellow. Seriously, it's such a joke that the hassle for a ref of giving a red means they never give red. (Involves travelling to the federation HQ to give a rapport why you gave red).
At least our new water pitch is brilliant, sadly not the gay pink and blue but it's fast as knobs.

Hehe i used to stand post defending and run for the tip in attacking, never got hit though. But if he kept the Ball from scoring it was all worth it. Did you win? And against who?
CorinYeah, June's sort of not really summer up there, more like spring. I don't when the snow will gone, but try and talk to someone who lives there or has been there a lot. June is kind of an in between type of month. May is basically spring (Gidá), and June is more pre-summer than actual summer (Gidágiesse). If I was to go there for hiking and camping, I'd go in early August, when there's berries to pick, good fishing, green grass and that tyoe of stuff. June is probably not very green up there.
If you want norhtern lights/aurora borealis, you should go up next week. Definitely high-season for that then.
Thanks, man! We dont know exactly when we are going yet, kind of difficult to plan that far in advance since none of us know when/if we will be working this summer, but yeah August def sounds better in that case.
Yeah, Ive been talking a little bit to this dude who is from Kiruna, trying to get the most inside info as possible from him being a local and all haha.
and about the northern lights, maaan I would love to go and stay in one of those hotels where you live like this
